Super Sprint – a fun car game from Electric Dreams. I had this game on disk somewhere around 1989 or 1990. I remember playing this a lot and I think that this was one of the better racing games.
Fast paced action, tight corners, oil puddles, strong winds and possibility to fix your car during the race. If you won the race, you could have options to tune your car. Add more speed, turbo and cornering abilities. It was a fun concept and new. This kind of reminds me of Remedy’s Death Rally, which was my most played racing game on PC. It had similiar elements and loved that game. I hope that I will find it also someday.
I have only positive things to say about Super Sprint. My version loaded after I fine tuned my cassette drive. So this game needed some minor work to get it going. It loaded all the tracks and works normal. I had fun times and played almost two hours.
I have now one in stock. This is the rare version of the game, which has the larger case. I’ll put more photos on my game shop.
